MIPS String Parser
Spring 2015 | Program
This is an assembly program that prompts the user for a string and outputs the number of non-whitespace characters, the number of whitespace characters (including the newline character), the number of words in the string, and if a second substring (again, provided for the user on runtime) is present in the string.
This program was written with MIPS assembly language for the Computer Organization course. There was no code provided for this assignment. The program was run on a simulator called QTSpim meant to run MIPS assembly code.
